In many scenes the bravia 9 colors looked closest to the monitor .

Your comparing a high end premium brand to a terrible chinese brand from nowhere,It’s like comparing a Panasonic and Sony to a random TLC company 🤣

I hate that I've gotten into TV's now...real pricey hobby lol. Just picked up a G4 and U8N and gotta say, the U8N is REALLY good for $1050 that I paid for it. Yeah, the G4 is better by a good margin but not over $2,000 better. Love the video man! Been watching your vids all day as I work.

Hi Fomo, thanks for another video you always hand out great content, but a quick question for you, I’m using the Sony 85j model but interested in the Bravia 9 or the Sony 98” I use a lot for films and streaming no games, which one should I get, this tv is for three years max, looking for 110 minimum Next thanks Oz

Full of crap. Not on A95L or G4 level

I just gotta say I’m seriously disappointed with the technology TV is nowadays I got last year‘s u8k after a bunch of you creators talked it up, saying it was pretty much the best bang for the buck and it’s been uttered dog shit having to change the settings on literally everything I watched to make it look. OK sucks clarity and compression handling sucks. why is it so hard to make a TV that looks good in all content without having to change all your settings. seems like they used to be able to do it. I’m about to go back to my old LCD. it’s not 4K but this is pathetic. Definitely first and last highsense I get.

Bravia 9 looks awesome, I think that's my next TV. Thanks for the review, FOMO.

When talking about durability I think most people also consider burn-in, especially on PC monitors. Unless OLED solves this specific problem 100% we’ll need an alternative. (Whether that will be MicroLED or QDEL I don’t know)

People buying these top tv's, are u still buying extra smart box for apps like apple tv 4k box?

I’m quite late the the Sony HT-A9 party (these were a replacement for two faulty Sennheiser Ambeo Max bars), and I have an irregular room typical for houses built around 1900 in the UK. As a result, I never really got great Atmos/DTS:X effects. I had heard a demonstration of these speakers at my nearest Sony Store, and was suitably impressed. I’ve now had them for five days and paired them with the SW-3 subwoofer which is ideal for my needs. Suffice to say, it’s elevated my listening experience no end, with great Atmos even from streaming (Greyhound on Apple+) and Prey (Disney+). Jurassic World in 4K UHD disc was just superb too. I’m aware that they’ve been replaced by the new system, but I’m really happy with the sound that they’ve given me. Movie night is just so much better!

I'll be honest I'm too poor for any of those so I went with the LG C3.. 65-inch. But im loving it. It will be my TV for the next 5yrs easy

I ordered the 75 Bravia 9 today. I kept going back & forth between the 75 Bravia 9, 77 s95d, and 77 g4 but since I’ve never owned an oled tv and I don’t want to buy an extended warranty which is what I would have needed if I went oled, that left the Bravia 9 as the winner. If burn in didn’t exist, I would have definitely went with the s95d.

It is so hard to decide: -LG has five year warranty and least amount of Bugs but old panel technology -Sony is king of processing and qd oled panel but so expensive -Samsung good price and qd oled but a lot of bugs

Bravia 9 seems really nice! I seriously considering coming back to LCD from oled TV in the future!

Erm microled are supposed to be way more efficient compared to oled, especially at high brightness levels, so they aren't supposed to generate as much heat, that's the whole point.

My 85" finally came in I went from the x90k. So I am very happy. I'm giving the 85 x90k to a family member and I have an 85" x91j which looks better then the x90k. X90k was trash, in my opinion.

I ordered a '24 98-in QM8 from BB because of the sale to replace my Epson 3800 on 110-in projection screen, but Reading and researching the entire night after I decided to cancel it because just next year it's going to be that much better with a different panel and I will have buyers remorse. I ended up buying an 85-in version instead for the computer room. Much less critical viewing there. Seems like a good TV for that environment. Another year or two and I will be replacing the projector with a big TV but it seems like they get so much better each year It's hard to spend that much money on something big just to be disappointed the next year because there's something way better.

The title is about Sony and oled , but you still put in China brand ya , or else they will kill you . You forgot to mention upscaling lower reso contents and the detail of Sony picture , nothing can beat Sony . lots of people out there are still watching older movies and TV shows , Sony is the best .

Have you considered doing a comparison between pc monitor panels like the new OLED Samsung G8 G80SD and existing 27 inch MiniLED monitors to see which performs better?

When you think about it, Sony was very smart to have their new flagship TV as not an OLED. If the new TV would have been an OLED, the price of the A95L would have dropped and there would be discounts all over the place. Instead, now both the bravía 9 and the A95L will continue to be among the most expensive TVs, it's a brilliant marketing move. Both Samsung and LG are now going to start basically giving away their flagship oleds from last year.

Nice review! Please make the review of Bravia 9 85 inches, It is supposedly better than the 65 and 75 because it has a greater number of zones and more contrast, and will be much closer to oled contrast. Thanks!

I don’t like Oleds,And no not because i think they look wrong from the real world but also colour and brightness levels,OLEDs simply cannot outperform a LED simple as that,In terms of brightness and highlights to real black levels,The reason why ? OLEDs crush black levels and dark movies are unwatchable,You get burn in,Dimming,Pixel and motion issues,For such an experience technology it’s really flawed.

Best part: NO BURN INS. It will actually last you more than 10 years.

The most important thing to myself ( having bought and returned the terrible sony 85x95j) is DSE & vignetting. Please add this to the reviews, its really important if you watch sports.

Would have got one, But nope Sony failed big time. You would think the most popular size would be 65 inch, Yet they don't sell that version in a lot of countries outside the US. Bring the 65inch to Australia Sony, WTF are doing?

Biggest weakness is the overpriced Sony product and his led technology and in real life these tv’s looks must different then in your videocamera content here on UA-cam!!
